Summer Season knits are 50% cotton & 50% acrylic - if you pull into shape after machine washing on 30 degrees and dry naturally they will be like new.  The bows are stitched on securely.  Blankets are a lovely gift on their own and perfect for swaddling or draping over the pram/car seat.
